"Mark is a very competent Real Estate Broker and relocation specialist. I am a recent transplant from California. After much individual searching for homes online, my husband and I met Mark at his office in Austin. We spent a good deal of time talking about what we were looking for both in property characteristics and neighborhood amenities, Mark read us like a book and gave a list of neighborhoods that fit our narrative. As a native of the area, Mark is very familiar with the Austin area that we were interested in. He showed us around and pointed us to areas that would be good fits for our needs and wants. We quickly (our first day looking) found a home that fit the bill. He researched comps, and we made an offer which was eventually accepted. From the beginning and throughout the closing process, Mark was always on top of it, and he was quickly available when I had questions. He patiently and knowledgeably walked us through any questions we had, no matter how big or small. During the closing period, he was even helpful with recommendations of vendors for upgrades and maintenance. Mark made sure that all deadlines were met and tirelessly stayed on top of the process, even while we were traveling back and forth from California. I appreciated his market knowledge, intuitive read of our wants, and dedication to get the job done from start to finish. I would highly recommend Mark Strüb to anyone looking for a new home in the Austin area and beyond. Thanks again."

"I've worked with REALTORS® in the past and my impression of them was not very pleasant. It seemed like their main motivation was money and how to make more of it. Therefore, they acted more like car dealers than someone helping you get your dream house. There were times that we knew he was busy but still he managed to schedule his availability to accommodate us. There was this one house that my fiancé, Jenny, was interested but Mark provided valuable info to point out the flaws about this property. He could easily agree with her and make more money since it was a more expensive place than the one we purchased. Mark has been doing this for years and his accumulation of knowledge and experience is immediately very noticeable. His primary concern is to make his clients happy and get them the place of their dreams, and he is excellent at it."

"Mark takes the time to get to know you and really tries to understand what you are looking for not just the stats (e.g. bedrooms-bathrooms, price, sqft), but what environment will bring you joy. Mark is extremely patient and is deeply knowledgeable in all the neighborhoods around Austin. He is the best."

"My wife and I just closed on our first home. It was a crazy 3-month adventure that ended better than we could have ever dreamed. Mark Strüb made it all possible. From the first phone call to the closing, Mark has been there every step of the way. Calling him a "Realtor®" or a "Broker" is insufficient. Working with Mark is like having a Real Estate agent, Broker, economist, housing expert, therapist, counselor, confidant, friend, and spirit guide all wrapped into one. He deserves to call himself an "über agent" because that's pretty much what he is. There are the givens, the fact that he is a funny, likable, and a genuinely good person; the fact that he has a well-rooted, deep understanding of Austin and its crazy-evolving housing market; the fact that he has amazing connections in every corner of Real Estate (lenders, inspectors, insurance agents, contractors, you name it, he connects you to all of them); the fact that he employs the most up-to-date and efficient tools to help you find and secure your house (this is a must in Austin); the fact that he operates on an "on-call" basis (another must in Austin. I kid you not, he answered one of my calls while celebrating his wedding anniversary in New England); and the fact that he will go to battle for you (when he found out there were multiple offers on the home we wanted, he worked tirelessly, day and night, for a stretch of 72 straight hours to get us that house, he would not be denied). Any good Austin Realtor® should have these traits. Where Mark separates himself is in how he views his relationship with his clients. It doesn't matter how long it takes (in our case, it took three months), Mark's objective isn't just to find you a house, his objective is to help you find your house. That distinction is important, and it's what makes Mark a rare bird in his profession. I'll never forget when Mark took us on our first ride to look at houses. While driving, he would occasionally point out houses where his clients live (it stuck with me that he called them "my clients," as opposed to "my former clients". He pointed them out with ease, and I could sense the pride and happiness he felt about each and every one. My wife and I are so thrilled to join the ranks of Mark's clients. He is our über agent for life."

"As a first-time homebuyer, having a good ally and advocate in a REALTOR® was critical to success. I had been looking casually on my own for a year, and finally decided to connect with Mark and Patrick. We had a good connection and he had a good knowledge of the market and things to look for. He was not a pressuring person and had a good eye for the things you want to be checked in buying a home (AC unit, drainage, roof, etc.) After a year of searching on my own, it was about 2 months from first meeting to handing over keys to my perfect home. They were responsive, responsible, and prepared for all steps in the process. Also received a good referral from REALTOR® for some housework. did solid work, but you will need to negotiate your own prices with them. The biggest thing that I think Patrick helped me with is saving me from myself. I thought I was going to have to out to the boonies for what I wanted, and Patrick did an excellent job of keeping an eye out for what I wanted, but closer in. Not only that, we found something cheaper than what I was expecting to pay. Without his excellent guidance and eye for the market, I wouldn’t be as happy as I am. My only concern about the process was that I might have overpaid on the home in question, and could have had better guidance on a lower counteroffer. It was a multiple offer situation within 24 hours which is a very hard thing to judge, and ultimately, I got them home I wanted so that’s the ultimate win. As a counterpoint, when the inspection came back, he was able to knock off thousands from the offer, so it worked out well. No problem recommending them and will likely use their services when it’s time to upgrade in a decade or so."

"We absolutely love working with Mark for buying and selling homes in the Austin area. We just completed our third closing with him, and it was a huge relief to have his expertise and guidance along the way. Mark navigates the intricacies of our rapidly shifting housing market with ease, but perhaps even more importantly he really understands people--he gets us, he gets our buyers, and he gets the buyer's agent. Without that quality, I would have been on edge from listing til close. I trust him 1000% and am so glad he's in Austin!"

"We moved to Austin just three years ago and Mark helped us buy our home. Now that we had to move back to the east coast, Mark helped us sell our home. We had an accepted offer within a week. Mark is professional, super knowledgeable, and just a great guy. You can look but you won't find another agent in town that can compare. Tried and true, go STRÜB."
