Meet Mark

In 2000, I moved from Phoenix to Austin. In 2004, I purchased my first home. I connected with the process in a profound way. I had an epiphany. I realized I could enjoy a truly fulfilled life helping others buy and sell little pieces of this beautiful city. It’s no exaggeration to say the experience changed my life.

I have helped hundreds of clients buy and sell properties—from five-figure investments to seven-figure dream homes—throughout the Austin Metro area. In 2022, the 15th Anniversary of STRÜB Residential Group, I founded HAUS of STRÜB to bring my 5 real estate companies under one roof. My award-winning Team and I are proud to offer you expert assistance in everything from buying/selling to renovation/design, property management, ground-up development and even passive real estate investing.

This end-to-end experience in real estate gives us a deep level of empathy for my clients, resulting in a rare level of concierge-style service. We consistently earn  Yelp.com’s #1 rating for our service and we've been consistently recognized by the Austin Business Journal for our market share.

Believe it or not- real estate is not my only passion. I sincerely believe that loving your community means giving back to it. In 2017, I was recognized as a community leader with an Austin Under 40 Award for both my business accomplishments and charitable impact. I support many Austin charities, and I am founding chair of an annual event called FLASHBACK that exists to engage and train Austin’s next generation of philanthropists.

All of this aside, nothing gives me more pride than the supporting role I play in the lives of my children: my stüpendous sons, Jack and Maxim and my precious daughter, Rhône.

As a native Texan with deep roots in the service industry and a well-traveled international drummer, I always strive to “give the people what they want.” I am no stranger to hard work, long hours and doing what it takes to get the job done efficiently, effectively to end up with an exceedingly happy customer.

When not assisting clients, I’m an active performing artist, drum instructor, member of the PDGA, and- if I do say so myself- one heck of a chef.

I was born in Colorado, raised in Rhode Island, and proud to call Austin home since 2005. A lifelong musician, I have performed all over the globe in almost every imaginable setting from cantinas and casinos to concert halls and cruise ships. Meet Lacey

My career began in Interior Design for national hotel brands where I learned how to deploy high-level design aspects to complete the look and feel my clients were after. My professional journey continued as a Project Manager for large kitchen installs at major restaurant chains. In 2010, I made the move to Austin to obtain my degree in Hospitality Management/Meeting and Event Planning

While I very much enjoyed putting my degree to work for major events here in Austin from SXSW to ACL Music Fest, it wasn’t until my plunge into real estate that I realized my true love for a profession where I can combine my passion for helping others with my skills and training.

When I am not working, I enjoy exploring the many trails and water holes around Austin with my daughter and our dog Presley.
