In 2000, I moved from Phoenix to Austin. In 2004, I purchased my first home. I connected with the process in a profound way. I had an epiphany. I realized I could enjoy a truly fulfilled life helping others buy and sell little pieces of this beautiful city. It’s no exaggeration to say the experience changed my life.
I have helped hundreds of clients buy and sell properties—from five-figure investments to seven-figure dream homes—throughout the Austin Metro area. In 2022, the 15th Anniversary of STRÜB Residential Group, I founded HAUS of STRÜB to bring my 5 real estate companies under one roof. Believe it or not- real estate is not my only passion. I sincerely believe that loving your community means giving back to it. I support many Austin charities, and I am founding chair of an annual event called FLASHBACK that exists to engage and train Austin’s next generation of philanthropists.
All of this aside, nothing gives me more pride than the supporting role I play in the lives of my children: my stüpendous sons, Jack and Maxim and my precious daughter, Rhône.

"As a first-time homebuyer, having a good ally and advocate in a REALTOR® was critical to success. I had been looking casually on my own for a year, and finally decided to connect with Mark and Patrick. We had a good connection and he had a good knowledge of the market and things to look for. He was not a pressuring person and had a good eye for the things you want to be checked in buying a home (AC unit, drainage, roof, etc.) After a year of searching on my own, it was about 2 months from first meeting to handing over keys to my perfect home. They were responsive, responsible, and prepared for all steps in the process. Also received a good referral from REALTOR® for some housework. did solid work, but you will need to negotiate your own prices with them. The biggest thing that I think Patrick helped me with is saving me from myself. I thought I was going to have to out to the boonies for what I wanted, and Patrick did an excellent job of keeping an eye out for what I wanted, but closer in. Not only that, we found something cheaper than what I was expecting to pay. Without his excellent guidance and eye for the market, I wouldn’t be as happy as I am. My only concern about the process was that I might have overpaid on the home in question, and could have had better guidance on a lower counteroffer. It was a multiple offer situation within 24 hours which is a very hard thing to judge, and ultimately, I got them home I wanted so that’s the ultimate win. As a counterpoint, when the inspection came back, he was able to knock off thousands from the offer, so it worked out well. No problem recommending them and will likely use their services when it’s time to upgrade in a decade or so."
"Mark is a very competent Real Estate Broker and relocation specialist. I am a recent transplant from California. After much individual searching for homes online, my husband and I met Mark at his office in Austin. We spent a good deal of time talking about what we were looking for both in property characteristics and neighborhood amenities, Mark read us like a book and gave a list of neighborhoods that fit our narrative.
